This group is designed to provide an opportunity for members to practice speaking in German at a beginner / intermediate level. We meet informally in a Restaurant and chat in German either about a chosen theme, or just about life in general. As long as you have learned a little German , you are welcome to come along! We meet at The Springkerse View (Next door to the Holiday Inn Express), where there is lots of parking.

The meeting lasts an hour, although some people stay on for a bit longer to chat. We are trying to learn German together so we often correct each others mistakes and use dictionaries or google translate to find words we don't know yet. Some weeks we use German children's quiz games, which can result in great hilarity! Our group has a summer break and will resume August 29, 2025.
