In a change of program, Rosalind Holmes will be our speaker on Friday 13th February. The topic of her talk is “A hundred years of Chinese history through the lives of the women of one Beijing family”.
The talk will cover the period from 1921 through 2021: a period of many great changes for China and its people.
Rosalind was born and brought up in Yorkshire but has lived for over 50 years in Scotland. She has always been interested in China and as a young woman dreamed of visiting the Forbidden City
