Join Us!

We extend a warm invitation to retired and semi-retired individuals from every background to become part of our community. Our membership is diverse, bringing together a rich variety of skills, experiences, and interests. At Forth Valley u3a, you'll find a welcoming atmosphere where you can share your knowledge, form new friendships, and embrace new opportunities.

All our groups and events are member-led, with the committee comprised entirely of volunteers. We encourage every member not only to take part but also to contribute in any way they can. To foster a positive, inclusive and enjoyable learning community, we have established a Member Code of Conduct. By joining Forth Valley u3a, you agree to adhere to the Forth Valley u3a Code of Conduct.

All membership applications must be submitted online by clicking on the ‘Join & Pay Online’ button below. As our main communication method is email, it is strongly recommended that members have their own email address, or alternatively, receive assistance from a family member or trusted person who can manage email correspondence on their behalf. We do offer postal communications to those who require it including our monthly members’ Update newsletter. Please contact the Membership Secretary once you have joined.

Members are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from groups and monthly meetings, as well as looking after their own wellbeing during activities. Please be aware that Forth Valley u3a members participate as fellow learners and volunteers; they are not carers and cannot assume responsibility for other members.
