The Gardens at Bannockburn House - our speaker for the first Members’ Meeting of the new session will be Margaret Pollock who will share some of the history of the gardens at Bannockburn House.

Bannockburn House is a 17^th Century category A listed building and is owned by the community. There is an ongoing renovation programme for the house and grounds.

The grounds cover approximately 25 acres and are a mix of woodland, garden, kitchen garden etc. with much of the work being done by volunteers.

There are also 5 Giant Redwood trees in the grounds. These are known as the 5 sisters.

After the talk, there will be an opportunity to chat to fellow members over tea, coffee and home baking. New members will be made very welcome!

Please register for the event by Monday 21st of September, by clicking on the link by Organiser above or selecting Events Booking.

Our catering team, Christina and Gail, are looking for members to do some baking for the
monthly meetings – if you would like to volunteer, please click/select Catering.
